Frequently asked questions

Admissions, treatment, travel and cost, answered plainly. If your question isn’t here, a confidential call with our team is always the easiest place to start.

General

Is The Diamond Rehab Thailand licensed?
Yes. We are fully licensed by the Thai Ministry of Public Health as a private addiction rehabilitation center in Hua Hin.
What about confidentiality?
Discretion is fundamental to how we work. From your first call through your stay and aftercare, every detail is handled privately, accommodation is private, and your identity is protected.
Do you offer shared rooms or private rooms?
Every client stays in their own private luxury bungalow. We never use shared rooms; privacy is part of the treatment.
What is rehabilitation?
A structured, medically supported process: detox where needed, followed by therapy and holistic care that addresses both the addiction and the issues beneath it.
What do I do next?
Reach out for a free, confidential call. A clinician listens, answers your questions and recommends the right next step. There’s no obligation to proceed.
What does a typical day at The Diamond look like?
A balanced rhythm of individual and group therapy, psycho-educational sessions, fitness and wellness, good food and rest, with outings at the weekend.
How can I help my loved one?
Start with a confidential conversation with our admissions team. Family involvement and family therapy are part of our approach to recovery.
Can clients leave the rehab?
Treatment is voluntary and you are never held against your will. We do ask that you commit fully to the program, because consistency is what makes recovery work.
Do I have access to my laptop, phone, etc.?
Access to devices is managed thoughtfully to protect your focus and the privacy of others, and arranged individually. Complimentary 24/7 Wi-Fi is available throughout your stay.
Can I have visitors and contact with loved ones?
Yes. Appropriate contact and visits are supported and arranged in a way that protects both your recovery and the privacy of other clients.

Treatment

What is the process of rehabilitation?
A confidential assessment, medically supervised detox where needed, then a personalized program of one-to-one therapy, group work and holistic care, followed by structured aftercare.
What is detox?
Medically supervised withdrawal, with 24/7 nursing and physician oversight to keep you safe and comfortable while your body stabilises.
What does The Diamond treat?
Substance and alcohol addiction, prescription-drug dependence, and co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, burnout and eating disorders.
How long will it take?
Length of stay depends on your history and goals; your psychiatrist recommends it after assessment. Many clients begin with a 28-day core program.
Am I free to leave treatment at any time?
Yes. Treatment is voluntary. We’ll always encourage you to stay the course, but the choice is always yours.
How much therapy do I get?
Three individual sessions a week with a clinical psychologist or counselor, plus daily group and psycho-educational sessions, with more one-to-one time on the fully individual schedule.
What if support groups and other rehabs didn't work in the past?
Our made-to-measure approach goes to the root causes beneath the addiction. With only twelve clients, your plan is built around you, not slotted into a fixed curriculum.
Is there an aftercare program?
Yes. Every program includes a comprehensive aftercare plan, plus our Relapse Prevention Guarantee on stays of twelve weeks or more.
What is your success rate?
Recovery is personal, and we never make unverifiable claims. We’re glad to talk through what outcomes look like and what shapes them on a confidential call.
Are you a 12-step rehab?
We draw on evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT and trauma work, alongside holistic care, and can incorporate 12-step principles where they help. We’re not limited to a single method.
