About the rehab
The Diamond Rehab Thailand is a unique rehab centre located on the coast of the Andaman Sea in the peaceful and quiet city of Hua Hin. The Diamond is one of its kind in every aspect of the word. Every room is private and if fitted with all the luxury amenities and creature comforts that our clients would need during their stay with us. Coupled with your therapeutic programme, we have a range of outings designed for you to gain the most out of your stay in Thailand so you can experience the rich culture and beauty the country has to offer.
We created a world-class treatment team that can help you with your addiction problems as well as other co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, burn-out, etc. Our program is based on a holistic approach. We use CBT and DBT together with various modalities to help you overcome your addiction and build sustainable recovery. We will go to the roots of the problem, we believe the substance is not the problem, and the underlying issues need to be resolved in order to manage to stay clean and sober and feel content at the same time.
The Diamond is founded by Theo de Vries; a pioneer in the rehab industry. Seven years ago, he started one of Thailand’s most successful rehab centers in Northern Thailand. When he took a 6 six-month sabbatical in 2019, he decided that it was time to create something new, something special that doesn’t exist in Thailand for an affordable price. After a few months of searching for the right location, he found – as he calls himself – The Diamond.
Our program is made to measure every client because we understand that every client is different and has different needs. We only go up to 14 clients, to keep our rehab small, this way we also secure the tranquility of the location. We offer small group sessions and a lot of individual therapy, made for your personal needs. Clients will arrive in the beautiful city of Hua Hin with a complimentary luxury airport transfer. The city boasts one of the best climates in Thailand with many months of sun and clear blue skies. Even in the rainy season, Hua Hin is warm and the rain is a welcome guest for the beautiful green nature Hua Hin has to offer.
The number of outings The Diamond offers is endless; from hiking to horse riding on the beach, from playing golf to kite surfing, from snorkeling to visiting national parks & waterfalls, everything is possible at The Diamond. We take our clients out on Saturdays and Sundays to teach them to enjoy life clean and sober.
The food we serve at The Diamond is of a high standard. We serve Thai food and Western food. If you have any special diet or allergy, our cooks will create something specially made for you.
